National Polymer is honored to have recently been awarded the 2022 Excellence in Manufacturing Award from the Manufacturing Advocacy and Growth Network (MAGNET), in coordination with Geauga Growth Partnership.
MAGNET is a non-profit consulting group that works to grow the manufacturing industry in Northeast Ohio. Geauga Growth Partnership facilitates interaction among business, education, and government to accelerate economic growth in Geauga County. Together the organizations created this award in 2021 to recognize manufacturers that are growing and expanding their customer base and workforce.
When discussing National Polymer winning the Excellence in Manufacturing Award, Kimm Leininger, President of Geauga Growth Partnership stated, “Their ability to continually meet the needs of their customers by developing new technologies and solutions has propelled their company as a leader in the coatings industry.” She added that, “In addition, their flexibility and ability to think differently around workforce development, has allowed them to hire individuals who provide quality work and has allowed these employees to meet the demands of their busy lives away from work.”
National Polymer principal Jim Duvall accepted the 2022 Excellence in Manufacturing Award at the Geauga Growth Partnership’s Annual Business Meeting which included nearly 200 local business owners, government officials, and community partners, including several of team members from National Polymer.
